Let's find out what God says about protecting you
from violence
God Protected Me from 3 Attackers with
Baseball Bats
"Blessed
is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in times of
trouble. The Lord will protect him and preserve his life; he will
bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desires of his
foes. Psalm
41:1-2
It was a beautiful Sunday, my family and
me just came back from taking our little girl to the Los Angeles
zoo.
I will explain
later what happened before the attack when I can complete this
story, for now I'll just fast forward to the bat attack.
It wasen't important to me that I was hit
straight in the forehead with a bat from one of the three men
who all carried blue aluminum bats, The attacker seemed to
be in his early twenties was wearing a blue bandanna on his forehead
and camouflage pants.
It wasen't even important to me that the front
of my yellow shirt that I was wearing, turned completely red from
being soaked from my own blood from the open gash from the bat
attack to my forehead.
The important thing to me was what happened
next as I looked through my blood soaked eyes towards my
wife who was screaming while holding our young baby
daughter who was just a few months old. I stood
there thanking God for His protection, because when one of
the men to my left hit my head with the bat like he was hitting
a home run. I did not staggered or stumble. I just stood there as
startled as the man who just hit me. The young man
who was at least six feet tall, looked at me and then he
looked at the bat as he dropped it as I walked towards him, and then
ran into the crowd.
I actually
cussed back at the two remaining two men when one of them
said to the other one. "It's my turn to hit him!"
Anger
immediately rose up in me because I knew that anyone who would hit
someone with a baseball bat for a second time was no stranger to
physically hurting innocent people.
The man who just hit me with the bat took off, I
turned towards the two who stood there, each one holding a baseball
bat, waiting to bring me down.
I started to
walk towards the both of them, still remembering what he just said
about that it was his turn to hit me.
I was angry
when I said; "No, it's my turn to shove the bat up your _ _
_!"
There is much
more to this wonderful story of how God never left me nor forsaken
me which I will finish soon, including guns, another man on a
motorcycle who approached me and said four words to me,
etc...
After it was all
over;
God bless the
paramedics who dressed me up, but I refuse to be taken in
the ambulance to the emergency hospital and be separated from my
wife who was visibly shaken up and taken care of our little
princess.
I never knew the
damage that was done to my forehead until after the doctor looked at
me and told me that he could not sew me up, It was only then
that I realized the seriousness of the bat attack.
Remember it's
about glorifying God for being there for me, and to praise God
that He want's to do the same for you!
God
believes in you

Oh, how great is your goodness to those who publicly
declare that you will rescue them. For you have stored up great
