Let's find out what God says about one of the
most dramatic problems in life
today-Bullies
God was
with me against nine bullies
"Blessed is he who has
regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in times of trouble. The
Lord will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in
the land and not surrender him to the desires of his
foes. Psalm
41:1-2
My father said this to me when I was twelve
years old. He said son, "I don't want to ever hear that you did
not stand up for yourself against a bully. If you get beat up, I
will carry you myself to the
hospital."
The day came for
me to do just that, I was afraid and it took all my strength for me
to stand up against a big bully who out weighed me over fifty
pounds, little did I know that nine of his friends would take his
side against me.
This story has
no less than five wittness's that walked into the bathroom, one at a
time. Two of the guys instantly turned around and walked back out of
the bathroom and three stayed. (names in my book: "God has my back
so bring it on!" ) What choices that these five individual witnesses
made as they each innocently walked into the bathroom when I was
confronted by these nine bullies was just as important to me as
how God delivered me out of the hands of these bullies that came
from out of Denver, Colorado to my high school and started to show
disrespect to the girls in the hallway, one of them just happened to
be my girlfriend.
