Lets find out what God's plans are for us to prosper from living in a single motel room to a new place to live .

It was exactly one year ago today that we had sold our home and moved into a motel as a temporally place to live, as we started looking for a place to call our new home.

After talking to our realtor, looking through the ads in the paper and even paying a specialty business to locate the perfect home for us.

We discovered this was not going to be as easy as we had thought it was going to be.

We would find a place that would have certain things that we liked but not everything that we wanted. I told my daughter that it was in God's Will for us to keep our pets so we turned down many places that did not allow pets, or maybe just one pet.

Month after month would go by as my family and I had kept our faith, praising God daily for already finding us a place that would fit all of our needs even though in the physical world we did not see the home yet.

It was hard for me to try and finish my book "God has my back so bring it on!" while living in a small single motel room. In fact I was many months behind on finishing and polishing my book. I knew that the Good Lord has never left me nor forsaken me or my family one time, and that it was just a matter of time before God would bless us with the perfect place.

My wife wanted central air and a kitchen with an island in it, my daughter wanted a yard for her pets and her own private bathroom. I wanted a double garage for my SUV and a place to work out in, security alarm system, and hardwood floors.

About nine months would go by, when my wife and daughter told me that they had found the perfect place. I knew the moment that I had walked in, that they were right.

While most of the beautiful homes in our neighborhood had carpet, this one home had hardwood floors put in on the first story floor. Just like you, I love carpet, but with pets, its easier for me to keep pet hairs off a hardwood floor.

This place had everything that we had asked for and even more. (Part of our living room with the hardwood floor in picture above)

I share this intimate story with you for three reasons,

That God does really want to continually bless you throughout your destiny!

That includes if you are in a little motel room, month after month waiting for God to give you a answer and point you in the right direction. Try to make sure that what ever you decide to do, that it brings glory to God and He will remove every obstacle and He will bless you for it.

God will give you and your family peace and harmony during this time. He expects you and your family to have the spirit of cooperation when you are cooped up in a single room for a long time.

The truth is, even thou it was just a single little motel room for me and my family. I really did enjoy living there. It had air conditioning, cable, hot showers, ice and maid service. And the manangement and people there were great. But just like most people, I needed more room.

It's important to always pray with your family and to keep the faith and thank God before you even receive what you have asked for.

And to always glorify God by sharing with others what He has done for you, before you receive it and afterwards.

When I was in the single motel room, I told God that I needed more space to finish the writing that He has asked me to do.

God says done, anything else?

God knows that He has already given me everything that I need.

I also know to be obedient to God's Will, If He decides for me to move to another location during the writing of my book, then I will obey His Will and not my desire that fits my ideal where I should be. I grew up in the Military where we sometimes moved every year or two. Try to not judge when someone moves from your neighborhood or life. If you are truly listening to God's Will, then He will move you to a place that He can use you or your family to do the most good. Put your total trust in God and you will never fear from day to day where you are in your life. It's not about moving that should concern us, it's about always having a place to go and serving our purpose that we were created for. You will always be blessed through out your destiny if you have the spirit of cooperation and humility, and not the spirit of rebellion and condemnation.

God knows that I really have no more acceptable excuses to give Him.

So to stay in His good graces, which is everything to me,

I know I really do have to finish my book now.
