He will never leave you or forsake you

God will know your heart and deliver you in times of trouble!

"Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in times of trouble.

Over 30 years ago, God blessed me greatly through a terrible ordeal when someone came to me who wanted to commit suicide. I was naive and inexperienced to handle this situation to say the least.

This whole incident was a big misunderstanding and should not have happened to me in the first place and was blown way out of proportion. The person did not commit suicide, and the family invited me over for a home cooked meal afterwards which I accepted as well as this family went to Church with me afterwards.

"Though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand." Psalm 37:14

One Million Suicides each Year

God has a way of making us turn our eyes towards Him,  and this dramatic moment in my life was no exception. I have only been out of high school for a couple years. For the first time in my life I could not turn to my parents for help and guidance since they were visiting our relatives over a thousand miles away. I don't know the measure of pain and grief nor the amount of tears that have flowed down my face asking God to help me and from the elation of praising Him for showing me just how real He truly is.

"We felt we were doomed to die and saw how powerless we were to help ourselves; but that was good, for then we put everything into the hands of God, who alone could save us." 2 Corinthians 1:9

I have devoted an entire chapter in my book to this in the hope that other people will understand that in the lowest moments of their life, that God will never leave them or forsake them one time. All we have to do is put our total trust in Him and do it His way.

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous:but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. Psalm 34:19

Looking back over the years, I have learned that most people of faith who go through adversities in their life, will sooner or later turn to God for help, sometimes we almost wait until it's too late, where our hope is amost gone and our faith is so fragile.

"Don't be bewidered or surprised when you go through the fiery trials ahead, for this is no strange, unusual thing that is going to happen to you." 1 Peter 4:12

I believe that there are more people who glorify God from the adversities in their personal lives when they see the power of prayer lead them to total victory over their obstacles and problems than all the gold, diamonds, and money combined.

"These trials are only to test your faith, to see whether or not it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests gold and purifies it- and your faith is far more precious to God than gold; so if your faith is remanins strong after being tried in the test tube of fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day of his return."                                                                                                                                       1 Peter 7

Because of this Biblical truth, I do not regret having to go through any of the life's experiences that I have been through,no matter how painful they may have seem at first. The truth is I would not be the faith based person that I am today if I was not brought to a place again and again that has reshaped my life to seek and desire to have a much more intimate and personal relationship with God.

For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a sheild.                                                       Psalm 5:12

We must never forget those who are wrongly accused

It is now 2008 and I glorify God for blessing me for never have spent a day in jail convicted of a crime or incarcerated in prison. I will not begin to say that I understand someone's grief and sorrow for spending years in prison or jail,  I do understand their sorrow and grief of being falsely accused.

"Loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free. Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear."   Isaiah 58: 6-8.

I thank God for given me a new heart that is truly willing to love you instead of judge you. When that day comes for me to open the doors to the people who are truly hurting inside because of their pain, suffering and grief. Who need someone to truly help them heal with unconditional love and total forgiveness. Who needs to show them the way of seeing a God that will never leave them or forsake them one time.

"I will never leave you or forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

I am that man, for my faith has been forged by the baptism of fire through the hottest fires of adversity. My very heart and soul leaps for joy knowing that there will be a day very soon where I can share your tears, griefs and sorrows of the personal journey that you have endured. To watch our Lord and Savior, at the very lowest moment of your life, dust you off from going through your own fires of adversity.

As Jesus looks you straight in your eyes, and smiles as He says to you, "Were going to get through this together because I will never leave you nor forsake you."

"The Lord will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desires of his foes.   Psalm 41:1-2"
