I believe like most people that our lives have been shaped through adversity, drama and the school of hard knocks. It is learning and coming to the understanding that all of  the things that happen to us are not by accident or by coincidence but designed by God's divine grace and wisdom to have us turn to Him again and again throughout our destiny.

Why does adversity happen to us?

In the most dramatic moments in my life, God did not just help me out most of the time. God triumphed over everyone of my adversities, set-backs and dramatic moments in my life and lead me to total victory each and every time. Just like He has done for you and many others, we should always remember it's never about just me or about you when we go through these dramatic moments in our lives. These stories just include us, it is our purpose to always glorify God by giving Him the credit when He blesses us through our adversities by never staying focus on the miracle, but on the Miracle Worker Jesus. Always remember God's Will is for you to blessed and have your life at the highest level.

This incredible journey of you being continually blessed by God is very real! There is always a life lesson to be learned from everything we go through in life. No matter how small or insignificant it may seem to us at the time. Our unique personal experiences help shape us to be the person that defines who we are today. God has planned our whole life before we were even born. It is from these choices that we make at each moment or cross roads in our personal lives that define who we are today and determine our destiny.

"Long ago, even before he made the world, God chose us to be his very own," Ephesians 1:4a

Who does God want to bless

Adversity has never been a stranger to me even from the very moment I was born. I came out fighting for my life, being born prematurely a month early and losing a pound the same day. I was in a incubator for 30 days with God's protection around me.

When I was in grade school, I went into the hospital for a simple surgery to tighten my lazy eye, where I was suppose to go home in a couple of hours after surgery as an out patient. After the surgery I did not wake up, I was unconcious and did not wake up for 3 days. Again God was there with me and protected me. My father who did not expect this, had to sleep in our car for 3 days since he brought no additional money with him.

"We felt we were doomed to die and saw how powerless we were to help oursleves; but that was good, for then we put everything into the hands of God, who alone could save us." 2 Corinthians 1:9

When I was no older than five years old, I fell out of our car with my dad ending up running over me. I was not wearing a seat belt (seat belts were not standard equipment back then) and my car door was not shut properly, I fell out of our car with my dad driving over 55 miles per hour. My older brother tried to grab me but it was too late. I ended up with my dad running over me with the rear tires, I did not suffer any broken bones or anything serious. A parents worse nightmare

Just like most people, I have witnessed  death and violence in various forms. I personally have witnessed senseless violence  and death such as drive-bys that have resulted in murder, At other times where violent people have tried to commit attempted murder towards others, and where they have tried to harm or kill me from helping others with weapons such as guns, knife attacks, bat attacks, nine bullies in bathroom against me, etc...  Why do bad things happen? and I have seen God protect me and others each and every time.

Even in the bat attack where I was hit squarely in the face which split my forehead like a watermelon. Where the front of my yellow shirt turned all red. I felt no pain, I felt nothing, I did not stagger, I did not fall. It had nothing to do with me, It was all to do with God's protection in my life. Even when the ambulance attentant's persisted on driving me to the hospital after dressing my wound. God gave me the presence and the clarity of mind to drive me and my family to the hospital. I really did not know the seriousness of my injury until I got to the hospital and the emergency doctor said to me that he could not sew me up, that I would need a plastic surgeon. I thank God that the xrays showed nothing broken or fracture to my skull. Only my skin was split open.

From one end of the spectrum to the other end, from adversities to miracles and blessings

God was there for me each and every time.

"Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." Psalm 37:3

I have also seen God bless me and my family with the perfect timing of financial blessings many times from six figures to even one dollar.  God will bless you financially

Why does God allow adversity?  

It does not matter to God what others think when they hear about the trouble that you have been in. And it should not matter to you. He cares if today is the day that you will glorify Him to all others for leading you to total victory each and every time.   

 "A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all."                         Psalm  3:19

Good Cop/Bad Cop?

God does not only care about the troubles that you have been in, He cares that you turn to Him so that He can deliver you from them. But first you have to be a member of His family by making Him your Lord and Savior.                             

 God's Plan of Salvation

"Jesus said, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

Through out your destiny, God will show you again and again just how many times He will be there for you.

In your obedience to God, He wants to personally share with you in just eight words just how many times that He promises to be there for you?..

I will never leave you or forsake you." Hebrews 13:5
