Doing it God's Way With Reverend Michael Cartwright

I believe that we are all missionary's for God in helping others in their hour of need

To lead we must first serve

"He poured water into a bowl and began to wash the follower's feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him." John 13:5

The above Bible verse holds a special meaning to me in being a servant of God, My Father and my Father In-law were both diabetic and it was very important that they both take care of their feet and toe nails to prevent serious infection. And both of them neglected this area in their lives. I knew God expected me to volunteer to massage and apply foot lotion and trim their neglected toe nails without hesitation. As much as it was a healing process for the both of them physically, I believe that it was even more of a healing process for me spiritually as it gave me a chance to experience the attitude and the humility of being a humble servant for another. One of our purposes as a believer in life is to provide quiet dignity and total respect to those who need our unconditional love. It is an incredible spiritual feeling to be in this servant mind-set to help others with total humility and grace. Jesus, the Son of God taught us himself by example.

Part of being obedient to God's Will is to have a spirit of humility and compassion for all others. If there is somebody that truly needs help In fixing or building their computers. I am A+ Certified to work on computers. As well as in many other area's as well. I will also help if you need someone to volunteer help in moving something heavy, cleaning up yard work, etc...

And you consider it a blessing from God to have this help. And you will glorify God for it. Than with joy and humility in my heart I am available to help you.

God tells us what good is it to say we have faith when someone needs our help, and we do nothing but wish them farewell.

"Dear brothers, what's the use of saying that you have faith and are Christians if you aren't proving it by helping others? Will that kind of faith save anyone? If you have a friend who is in need of food and clothing, and you say to him, "Well, good-bye and God bless you; stay warm and eat hearty," and then don't give him clothes or food, what good does that do? So you see, it isn't enough just to have faith. You must also do good to prove that you have it. Faith that doesn't show itself by good works is no faith at all-it is dead and useless." James 14-7
