A
TRIBUTE TO BOB ALLENDER
Throughout
Bob Allender's destiny of his seventy plus years, he has tried to be
a blessing to so many
other
people in his faith walk with God. May you be blessed as I have from
knowing him as well as
from
reading his exhaustive collection of spiritual poems, stories, and
wisdom that he has collected as
well as
those he has written along his journey. Read and discover why I have
decided to include this
wonderful
man in the ending chapter of my near completed book titled: "God has
my back so bring it
on!"

"A
BLESSED PRAYER"
"Father, I
ask you to bless my children, grandchildren, friends, relatives and
email buddies reading
this right
now. Show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy Spirit,
I ask you to minister to
their
spirit at this very moment, where there is pain, give them your
peace and mercy.
Being
Blessed is Terrific... Being highly favored is the
best!
Don't
settle for anything less!

No
Merry Christmas this year without Jesus
Their
lives were so busy with their Christmas time
things
No time to
remember Jesus, the King.
There were
presents to wrap and cookies to bake. How could they needed more
time to "Shop till
they
dropped!"
On to
Wal-Mart! On K-Mart! On Target! On Penny's! On Hallmark! On Zales! A
quick lunch at Dennys.
From the
big stores downtown to the stores at the mall, they would dash away,
and visit them all!
And up on
the rook there rose such a clutter as Grandpa hung icicle lights up
on his brand new step
ladder.
He hung
lights up that would flash. He hung lights that would twirl. Yet, he
never once prayer to
Jesus...
Lights of the world.
Christ's
Eyes...How they twinkle! Christ's Spirit...How
Merry!
Christ's
Love...How enormous! All our burdens...He'll
carry!
So instead
of being busy, overworked, and uptight let's put Christ back in to
Christmas and enjoy
some good
nights!
Merry
Christmas, Merry Christmas to all my friends!
Note: Just
pause for a moment and think what Christmas would be without Jesus,
"Jesus My
Friend"

THE
POWER OF PRAYER
A poorly
dressed woman with a look of defeat on her face, walked into a
grocery store.
She
approached the owner of the store in a most humble manner and asked
if he would let her
charge a
few groceries.
She softly
explained that her husband was very ill and unable to work, they had
seven children and
they
needed some food.
The
grocer, scoffed at her and requested that she leave his store at
once.
Visualizing
the family needs, she said: “Please, Sir! I will bring you the money
just soon as I can.”
Grocer,
told her he would not give her credit, she did not have a charge
account at his store.
Standing
beside the counter was a customer who overheard the conversation
between the two.
The
customer walked forward and told the grocer that he would stand good
for whatever she needed
for her
family. The grocer said in a very reluctant voice, Do you have a
grocery list?”
She
replied, “Yes sir.” “O.K.” he said, “put your grocery list on the
scales and what ever your grocery
list
weighs, I will give you that amount in
groceries.”
She
hesitated a moment with a bowed head, Then she reached into her
purse and took out a piece of
paper and
scribbled something on it . She than laid the piece of paper on the
scales carefully with her
head still
bowed.
The eyes
of the grocer and the customer showed amazement when the scales went
down and stayed
down.
The
grocer, staring at the scales, turned and slowly to the customer and
said begrudgingly, “ I can’t
believe
it.”
The
customer smiled and the grocer started putting the groceries on the
other side of the scales.
The scale
did not balance so he continued to put more and more groceries on
them until the scales
would hold
no more.
The grocer
stood there in utter disgust, Finally, he grabbed the piece of paper
from the scales and
looked at
it with greater amazement.
It not a
grocery list, it a prayer, which said: Dear lord, You know my
needs and I am leaving this in
your
hands.”
The grocer
gave her the groceries that he had gathered and stood there stunned
and silence
The lady
thanked him and left the store.
The
customer handed a fifty dollar bill to the grocer and said: “It was
worth every penny of it Only
God Knows
how much a prayer weighs.”
The Power of Prayer: you never know how much it
will
weigh till you do it.
So please when you receive this Stop WHATEVER
YOU
ARE DOING OR WHEREVER YOU ARE and say a
prayer.
Thank God that is all you have to do. Because no
matter
where you are or what you are doing he will hear
your
prayer he promises that he
would.
I believe if you send this testimony out with a prayer
in
faith, you will receive what you need God to do in your
and
your families’ life.
So my friend trust God to heal the sick, provide food for
the
hungry, clothes and shelter for those that don’t have as
we
do..
Amen & Amen

If
I Knew
If I knew
it would be the last time that I'd see you fall
asleep,
I would
tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to
keep
If I knew
it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in
praise,
I would
video tape each action and word so I could play it back day after
day
If I knew
it would be the last time! I could spare an extra minute to stop and
say "I love you," instead
of
assuming you would KNOW I do!
If i knew
it would be the last time I would be there to share your
day,
Well I'm
sure you'll have so many more, so I can't let just this one slip
away
For surely
there's always tomorrow to make up for an
oversight.
And we
always get a second chance to make everything just
right.
There will
always be another day to say "I LOVE YOU,"
And
certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can
do?"
But just
in case I might be wrong and today is all I
get,
I'd like
to say how much "I LOVE YOU" and hope we never
forget.
Tomorrow
is not promised to anyone, young or old alike,
And today
may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one
tight.
So if
you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it
today?
For if
tomorrow never comes. You'll surely regret the
day.
That you
didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss and you
were
too busy
to grant someone, what turned out to be their last
wish.
So hold
your loved ones close today, and whisper in their
ear,
Tell them
how much you love them and that you will always hold them
dear.
Take ttime
to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's
okay."
And if
tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about
today.

To the
Hernandez Family
My
Maria, My Maria
We were
all saddened by your leaving us on this Earth. As one of God's
faithful children He called
you and
you went home with Him. We have solace in knowing that you are in a
much better place
there than
you was on this Earth. We know as Christians that it is a much
better place, it is much
prettier
than any of us can imagine. We also know that when He took you, He
took all your hurt and
pain away
and forever you are Free from all hurt and pain. We also know that
in the Holy Bible He
promised
that all we had to do was believe and because our God told us if we
believe in Him, we will
have
everlasting life. I know that I believe in Him and He has shaped and
molded me to His ways.
There are
no sorrow in our hearts because it is time to rejoice and praise God
for lifting you up
and
inviting you to you new home with Him where we will meet again some
day.
"Tis a
gift to be simple,
"Tis a
gift to be free.
"Tis a
gift to come down
where we
ought to be
And when
we find ourselves
In the
place that's right
"I will be
in the Valley
Of love
and delight.
With my
Lord in heaven.
Rigoberto
A Hernandez is a Dear friend, he and his wife went with us on many
bowling tournaments
through
out the state. No matter where we went we had a fun time. His wife
Maria died on February 6,
2006. I
wrote this for him personally and it came from my heart. Maria will
be missed by many people.

"FOREVER
IN OUR HEARTS!"
God looked
around His garden
and found
an empty place.
He then
looked down on His earth
and saw
your loving face.
He saw
your path was difficult
and He
closed your weary eyes.
He
whispered to you "Peace be thine!"
and gave
you wings to fly.
It's broke
our hearts to lose you,
but you
did not go alone.
For part
of us went with you,
on the day
God took you home.
Foot note;
This is a must for all who believes in God and knows that we will
have eternal life with Him.
For
someday I will see you when He calls you home.

Bob really got involved in the community He
joined the Volunteer Fire Dept gradually working up to Fire Marshall
for the District. He joined the Weld County Sheriff Dept. there
working night and selling Dodge Truck during the Day, He was the top
Truck salesman for Dodge for two years. After hearing about a child
that had waited, 45 minutes laying in the street for a ambulance
that had to come from 16 miles away. He decided to try and form a
volunteer ambulance service for the three towns in the area which
many of the old timers said could never be done, they just didn’t
know Bob and his determination.
With the help of the local newspaper called
the Farmer Miner they called a meeting at a local IOOF lodge for
people to attend. Bob explained to every one how he thought they
should go about it, and people agreed. But the next concern was what
are we going to do about getting an ambulance, Bob Stated that he
knew a person that sold ambulances and he said he would work with
the group. With the help of many others they formed the group but
had no ambulance so off to the bank Bob goes, yes he got the
Ambulance. After picking up the Ambulance in Denver and
driving home, Bob wondered how he was going to let everyone in the
three towns know that they had a ambulance so he turned on the Red
Lights and siren and drove through all three town and everyone knew
then. At the start the driver used to keep the ambulance parked in
front of his house and when they got a call he would usually pick up
his attendant that lived as close to him as possible. The Very first
day that we were in service we receive two call one an accident on
the highway and a heart attack of a local town person. They had a
tow way radio system sat up using a Truck stop on highway 52 an
interstate 25 as the base station the phone calls came to them and
then they dispatch the ambulance. From then on everyone knew
that we had an ambulance and competence people to make it work.
Since then they built a building, bought the land that it was built
on to house it. It had living quarter for driver and attendant, and
they could park their car inside out of the cold night, it is still
going today. Incidentally that where he met his wife Eileen she was
his attendant on the ambulance one night. The County of
Weld took it
over in 1984.

same time.
Doing all of that he still sold truck and
cars for Dodge at Northglen

NorthGlen,
Colorado. .

He had the privilege of bowling in 20
National Bowing tournaments with his wife Eileen, a dear friend Paul
Ringler and his wife Dorothy. In 2005 he received his 20 years pin
from the ABC for tournament participation. He attended many A.B.C.
conventions in many different cities through out the United

years after he started; After a serious operation and the loss of
100 lbs, his average is going down but he is still hanging in there.
After so many active years he has some health problems but he still
running his business and works 6 days a week and bowls on Wednesday
night. It has been said by many people that Bob live, dies and
breathe bowling he was
known for his dedication and termination to get the job done and
done right.
He Started the California State Mixed
Doubles Championship, urged on by ABC and when they refused to give
him a grant he bit the nail on the head and finance it completely
out of his pocket. Then after $60,000.00 dollars he spent out of his
pocket he decided to give it up. He attended the leadership workshop
in June of 2005 in Greendale Wisconsin and he attended all the
work shops and really learned in four days.

In November 2005 Bob was approach by a
friend Lee Ingram who was a field representative for the American
Bowling Congress and asked Bob to sit up a new organization for the
state of California. After much discussion
Bob took action and started to work on which is now know as the
California State Bowling Congress Inc it was quite a undertaking
doing everything from scratch but he got it done. The awards program was
really the hardest thing to accomplish as trying to be fair to all
and make sure everyone had a chance to get the awards, the low
average bowler as well as the high average bowler, Getting all the
patches designed and in place was really mind bogging.
