"May we always remember those who lost their lives this day"

"God bless them and their loved ones"

May we always be prepared to help others

"God's Word tells us, what good is our faith if we don't help others out, with food and clothing

"Dear brothers, what's the use of saying that you have faith and are Christians if you aren't proving it by helping others? Will that kind of faith save anyone? If you have a friend who is in need of food and clothing, and you say to him, "Well, good-bye and God bless you; stay warm and eat hearty," and then don't give him clothes or food, what good does that do? So you see, it isn't enough just to have faith. You must also do good to prove that you have it. Faith that doesn't show itself by good works is no faith at all-it is dead and useless." James14-17

God does not expect us to know when a natural disaster is going to happen each and every time. But He does expect us to be prepared as much as possible so that we can help ourselves as well as help all others. God's Word tells us that a wise man will see trouble coming and will take steps to avoid it. Due to the world wide publicity of the two recent Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, most of us are painfully aware of the basic issues of having enough food and water that should last us for at least a week or two for every person in our family including transportation and logistics.

But very few of us seldom recognized the priority of having every important document that you will need right after a disaster so that we can be processed faster to get back into the system. So that we can obtain the much needed aid from our State and Government level such as Fema and other Blessed organizations that are set up to help save lives as well as to provide quality short term and long term living arrangements. We hope to include a list of every piece of document and items that you should have available at a moments noticed stored in a waterproof and fireproof place.

We hope to have the necessary information and resources for everyone to be better prepared from every worse case senario. From family emergency's to natural disasters. The more that we are better prepared as a people, the more that we help out our Government in times of National Disasters. The more that we stand strong as one Nation under God.

For now, the most important items and documents that you will need, including the links to get extra copies of your documents are listed below!

ON A "TIGHT BUDGET!"

Here's a water storage tip! Don't throw away your used two-liter plastic soda bottles. Rinse and clean any soda left in bottle, then fill with clean tap water, and twist the cap back on and date each bottle so that you will know when to replace the water every few months. With the twist cap, you don't have to worry about the caps popping off like on the plastic milk containers during moving around. Try to have enough clean drinking water that will last each person in your family for 1 to 2 weeks minimum. Start today, your family will love you for it as well as be blessed for it!

WOWFaith Ministries, Inc. hope that this will help you and your loved ones be better prepared in case of a emergency or disaster.
