Why do people lie-
Jealousy
"Wrath is
cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before
envy." Proverbs 27:4
We have all seen or been the victim
of the green eyed monster called jealousy.
It could be that you always got a
date and they always felt the stinging echo of rejection.
It could be that your successful in
your business, or personal life and they are mistreated and feel
disrespected at their job or at home.
It could be a local Church is jealous
of a new Church starting to rise up in the community and they will
criticized the Church instead of giving God the glory that He has
blessed another Church to praise His Name. (Pastor Joel Osteen
has the largest Church in the Country with 30,000 members that show
up, He said he did not understand why other Church leaders were
being critical of his blessing. He said he thought it was all about
glorifying God and he's right.

"For where
envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work."
James 3:16
God's Word teaches us that a positive
and sound attitude is the life of the flesh but envy will rot us to
our very bones.
"A sound heart
is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones."
Proverbs 27:4
I believe with all my heart and soul
that more people have fallen from grace because of a bitter and
jealous heart than all the gold, diamonds and money in the
world.
I also belive when people try and
persecute us by spreading their lies, gossip and false witness of us
when were trying to make a positive difference in this world
that their is a right way and a wrong way in how we respond to this
type of persecution.
"As important as it is to
what happens to us in our lives, it is far more important to how we
react to what happens to us in our lives"
If we stay positive minded and put
our total trust in God that He will handle His enemies His way. God
promises that vengeance is His and He will bring forth His wrath
upon them.
"Do not say I'll pay you back for this wrong! Wait
for the Lord, and He will deliver you." (Proverbs
20:22)
God also promises that if we take
great joy in the way God used His wrath on others that He will
stop.
"Rejoice not
when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when
he stumbleth: Lest the Lord see it, and it displease him and he
turn away his wrath from him." (Proverbs 24:17-18)
God's Word promises us that He will
bless us when men and woman shall say all manner of evil against you
falsely.
"Blessed
are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say
all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.(12) Rejoice and be exceeding glad for great is your
reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were
before you. Matthew
5:11-12
